Leo can barely get a word in edgewise against Adele and Kilian has already said he's not going. Bro is outclassed on all fronts and it doesn't help that he's got Chloe screeching over Adele's tiniest movements. Also even if Kilian hadn't already said he's not going, I feel like Adele just implied she would leave him if he did go. The whole "you have to keep your eyes on your present happiness if you want to enjoy it" bit seemed directed at him more than Leo. There's the whole bound for life thing but I'm pretty sure she could break it if she wanted to, one way or another.

Exactly. As much as I can pity for having nothing else on life other than this one-sided idolizing of someone from a distance, the key words here are that it was "one sided" and "from a distance": can't blame the recipient when things don't turn out well (at least ...not if you have any wish to remain a somewhat "still mentally and emotionally sane" kind of person). Blame the father all you want, ...but blaming her for the way YOU chose to hold her on a pedestal, completely without her knowlege, is nothing but diverting the blame
