   The plotline is quite complicated.
   That book which mc found is not the “novel book” at all. It’s a fanfic written by some crazy reader who was mad bcs “the fake princess” of the novel wasn’t “punished enough” in her eyes. In the real book “fake” princess wasn’t happy about the whole situation that happened, but it was more like she was throwing a tantrum and was just reprimanded, later she left the palace and lived with her family. It was a mild HE.
   Not fully sane girl later was “pushed” to that world and she took the “real princess” place. When MC found her and maid mother it was already the impostor, not real FL of the story.
   Now the story goes this way:
   – MC left the palace,
   – for some reason she’ll come back there (she found her biol father before that),
   – MC will see that FL behaves different than in the story (impostor comes from modern Korea, she’d happily eat spicy food and it was impossible that “mother” of FL would give her that kind of food; plus few other sus parts that MC noticed),
   – “mother” was thrown into prison, FL didn’t visit her even once, but MC came more than once asking if she (“FL’s mother”) noticed any abnormalities about the child she raised, and in fact she did (later)
   – FL was deliberately mentioning in front of emperor that she doesn’t know anything about her birth mother (empress) and that the maid is the only mother she knows – she did that on purpose to infuriate the emperor hoping he’d kill the maid, but the effect was completely opposite – “mother” was put into a higher quality jail (like those for nobles),
   – since that didn’t work, “FL” hired assassin(s) – that plan also failed (in orig story “mother” was killed on the spot by emperor and it didn’t happen now so impostor was afraid that she’ll be exposed by her)
   – MC talked with emperor that FL might not be the princess, that emperor should be wary and observe FL.
   Long story short: impostor was exposed in front of emperor by mc with the help of “mother”, her soul was forced out (magic) and real FL came back.
   Mc had a conversation with her biological father that she already “did her job” and there was no reason for her to stay in the palace, MC went to the emperor, he tried to persuade her to stay and mc spit out those words that emperor said when she was small: that “she should live quietly like a rat so he wouldn’t see her”, she said that all the time she was in the palace she was frightened that she’ll make a mistake and he’ll punish/execute her. So no matter how he’d beg her, that wouldn’t work.
   In the end she promised that she’ll reply to the letters from emperor and FL (MC is in good terms with the real princess).
   Then MC left with her father. Her presence brought the family closer, father and brothers doted on her, she had a happy life.

   Supposed ML, duke’s heir was, I’d say, in a friendly relation with MC. A good soul wrote in a spoiler that MC’s father and brothers were not happy that ML was “friendly” towards MC, but from my point of view there will be no “romance” between them. She’s the only daughter of magic tower boss’s (it’s in another country)- daddy won’t sell his child back to that country, nor he’d honour her previous engagement – and ML is the only heir of the duke’s so he’ll inherit the title.
   Maybe I’ll add one more thing:
   there was a “force” behind impostor’s transmigration. It was an evil goddess/deity. That Korean girl most likely died before transmigrating, so there’s a big question mark about what happened to her when her soul was forced to go back to her world.
   There’s also a “good god” but to put it simply it’s a guy who wrote a novel, the original story’s author, but didn’t publish it. Someone plagiarized his work/idea and it was published in a form of an otome game. Mc had a conversation with him, in the end it was said that it’s his influence made a mess in MC’s world. That guy promised to fix the damage (and most likely he’ll leave that world).
