He’s made it clear he thinks them getting together beyond what they already have is a terrible idea, and his reasons aren’t unreasonable, so she has to make it so the idea of being in love with each other is more irresistible than his fear of passing his curse off to an offspring. She’s successfully making herself an indispensable part of his surrounding by being her best self no less. It’s going great!
